Welcome to Run the Wild! The UK and Europe's premier, dedicated trail running adventure holiday company. Everyone at Run the Wild is passionate about running and adventures. We love racing but what we really love is running. Running off into the unknown, the path flowing underneath your feet, snow capped mountains glinting in the sun, clouds melting away in the valleys far below. Setting your heart and mind free... Exploring places... not running races. This is what it feels like to be alive!
We want you to have an amazing time running and exploring some of the most spectacular trails in the UK and Europe. This is achieved by a professionally led running team, comprised of experienced, qualified lead runners, planned routes, full logistical support for you and your kit, as well as food and accommodation. You’ll be part of a small group of runners of similar ability to share the experience with. Your enjoyment and safety is our priority so you can be assured that you are in good hands. Are you ready for the challenge? We will be with you every step of the way.
Exploring places... not running races. Now is the time to Run the Wild!

Additional Information

We are passionate about running adventures, in fact it's the only thing we do! By taking part in a Run the Wild holiday you become part of Run the Wild. Your Lead Runner will guide your route. The logistic team meet each you morning and where possible for a refreshment stop during the day - typically unique to RtW. We use nice hotels wherever possible. We recommend getting stuck into the trail but not forgetting to celebrate the achievements and your holiday with a glass of champagne at the end of the trip. Apart from all the logistic support you'll receive as well as a lead runner, we emphasize the social side of running. Our groups run as a small team, typically up to 5 members. In the evening we meet for dinner, have a few beers, reflecting on the day we've had as well as what will happen on the next. It's also a great time to share stories and experience and have a bit of fun. Friendships are such an important part of these sort of expeditions and are another aspect that set us apart from the world of racing.
"Exploring places... not running races."

Hotel rooms and other accommodation is provided on a twin room sharing basis, and on some of the multi day routes in dormitory style accommodation. Please let us know if you would prefer a single room, and where possible we will arrange this, at an additional supplement. Accommodation is included in your trip as standard, and if you are taking part in one of our alpine trips based in Chamonix, these are 4* spa hotels.
